Who's behind this
I'm Maximilian. I moved from Germany to Cyprus in 2019, together with a few friends, all of us self-employed. So I've been through the whole thing myself: registering as an EU citizen, setting up a company here (from scratch, not moved over), and the rest of the list nobody hands you when you land.
What surprised me was how little of it you could get straight online. Much of what I found was vague, out of date, or simply wrong. Since then I've got to know tax advisers, estate agents, lawyers and local business owners here personally.
That's why this site exists: so you can skip the stumbling blocks I hit. Every figure on it is traced to its primary source, and where official sources disagree, the page says so instead of guessing. If you'd like a hand on top of that, I can put you in touch with a relocation agency I know personally.
